The annual NSBA State Concert Band Festival provides a non-competitive environment that serves all levels of ensembles in the state of Nebraska—middle school, high school, and college/university groups. These events will include a performance and clinic for each participating band given by an expert in the field of concert band/music education.
2026 Concert Band Festival dates will be:
Wednesday, April 1, 2026- Bellevue East High School
Thursday April 2, 2026- Kearney High School
The clinicians for the Festival are:
Dr. Christian Noon- University of Missouri Assistant Director of Bands
Dr. Jacob Wallace- South Dakota State University Director of Concert Bands
Dr. Curran Prendergrast- Truman State University Director of Bands
