Marilyn Godby currently is the Regional Manager for the Gordon Bernard Company, LLC. As a music educator, Marilyn has taught in Indiana, Kansas, South Dakota, & Wyoming. From 1991 - 2000, she was an assistant director of bands in the Papillion La Vista School District. She remains an active music clinician and adjudicator. Marilyn also currently serves as the Exhibit Chair for NMEA.

Barb Mock received her B.M.E. and B.S.E. degrees from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, NE. From 1990 to 2001, she became Director of Bands at Plattsmouth High School in Plattsmouth, NE. Under her successful direction, the concert, marching, and jazz bands and color guard flourished.

Barb recieved her CTA certification from Travel Careers Institute, has been recognized as a Destination Specialist for the Caribbean and a Travel Professional Disney Specilaist and is an independent agent affiliated with AAA?the most recognized name in the travel industry.

The Empire Registry of Executives and Professionals includes Barb as an outstanding business professional member.

Dave Young is a retired band director but still teaching part time at Lincoln Southeast and College View Academy High Schools. Twenty three of his 45 year teaching career were spent at Bellevue East High School. He is a Past President, Treasurer, Marching Chairman, Adjudication Chairman and current Webmaster for NSBA.
He is a recipient of the NSBA Don Lentz Outstanding Bandmaster Award and the NMEA Hall of Fame.

The Past Presidents' Council is an organization comprised of the former Presidents of NSBA. This group serves in both advisory and service capacities to the NSBA Executive Board.
